Firmware Engineer – AR/VR Wearables (San Diego)
We’re looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our team in San Diego and help optimize power and performance for wearable AR/VR devices. You’ll work on embedded systems, focusing on RTOS, embedded ML, and power optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve device efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for wearable devices with a focus on power and performance.
- Integrate and optimize ML models (PyTorch, TensorFlowLite) for embedded systems.
- Conduct power analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop power management strategies.
- Create test plans and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong experience with RTOS, C/C++ programming, and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO).
- Proficiency in power measurement and optimization.
- Embedded ML experience, including model compilation and deployment.
Preferred:
- Experience with low-power design and optimization algorithms.
- Scripting skills in Python.
